The B.Sc.
Nursing Course is of Four years (eight semester) duration.

by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and approved by Karnataka
Nursing Council
(KNC) and Government of Karnataka.
Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS),
Bangalore.
Subjects:
Nursing
Principles, Anatomy, Physiology, Physics, Biochemistry, Pathology,
Microbiology, Psychology, Sociology, Management, Education, Research,
Biostatistics, English, Medical and Surgical Nursing, Child Health,
Maternity, Mental Health, Community Health and Midwifery.
Examination:
Students will appear for the theory and practical examination
conducted by the University at the end of each year during Oct-Nov.
Purpose:
The main purpose of the undergraduate degree in Nursing is to provide
an educational Programmed through which the graduates will be prepared
to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary, and tertiary care
of people as professional nurses. It is expected that graduates are
capable of teaching and supervising appropriate nursing and health
care in different settings and participate in the administration of
nursing service and education. The B.Sc. Nursing Programme is designed
to enable students get a broader vision of Nursing based on scientific
principles and extensive clinical experience.
